MEDfarms Rebrands to Dispo, Announces Dispensary Launch Parties Across Michigan (1)

Romeo, Michigan--(Newsfile Corp. - August 2, 2022) - MEDfarms, one of the largest vertically-integrated marijuana dispensary operators in Michigan, unveiled today that it will be rebranding their dispensaries to Dispo, a MEDfarms-managed marijuana retail chain. The rebranding to Dispo will accelerate MEDfarms' plan to be the largest and leading provision center chain in the Great Lakes region while taking advantage of Dispo's exceptional brand identity and team.

"We are very excited to work hand-in-hand with new dispensaries,'' said Towbey Kassa, VP of Marketing & Sales at MEDfarms. "They have been a staple in the retail cannabis space for years and to have an opportunity to brand as one with our other locations will be nothing short of amazing. In the five years we have been operating, we have created over 300 jobs with more to come. We are excited to provide The Dispo Difference when they step inside any of our locations."

MEDfarms has already begun rolling out phased rebrandings to transition dispensaries to the Dispo brand. The first Michigan retail cannabis stores to rebrand to Dispo are Camden, Portage, Lansing, Bay City, and Battle Creek.

To celebrate, the dispensaries will host public (ages 21+) grand opening launch parties throughout August (two have already taken place). Each event will include a ribbon cutting ceremony, a host of free food truck options, live music and entertainment, several cannabis and cannabis-related vendors, and special guest appearances, and be an opportunity for community members and customers to speak to MEDfarms and Dispo representatives and learn more about the company.

The event details for each dispensary launch party are as follows:

"First Class Cannabis Co. opened their first marijuana dispensary in Michigan in 2021. While coming into a new industry was exciting and challenging, we were grateful to be able to expand our storefronts to other cities across the state and create over 80 jobs in the community in our first year," said Chris Allos, Chief Operating Officer at First Class Cannabis Co. "After meeting several operators in the state, we came across MEDfarms. They share the same passion for the cannabis industry and focus on patient care as we do, which excited us and provided an opportunity to create a partnership. With our companies joining forces, we will be able to provide the best products at the most affordable pricing."

MEDfarms currently owns and operates six dispensaries throughout Michigan, and with the Dispo rebrand that number will increase to 11 cannabis retail locations by the end of the year. With a community-focused approach that caters to every level of cannabis consumer, the combined MEDfarms and Dispo teams will work closely with each dispensary to update storefronts, curate a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for visitors, and refresh inventory with Michigan's largest variety of products.
