NFL Week 9 coverage map: TV schedule for CBS, Fox regional broadcasts | Sporting News (2024)

Week 9 of the 2021 NFL season will reflect what we will see a lot as bye weeks continue. There are four teams on bye — the Buccaneers, Seahawks, Lions and Washington Football Team — so there will be just 14 games total during the week.

Since there are three prime-time games, there will be 11 games featured on the Sunday slate.Eight will begin at 1 p.m. ET while three games will begin in the late window from 4:05 p.m. to 4:25 p.m. ET.

Once again, CBS and Fox will split the presentation of the games just about down the middle. CBS has five games this week after airing six last week. Fox has six for the second consecutive week and will feature the main slate doubleheader, while CBS will show just one game in each regional market.

Fox's early-game coverage will focus on America's Team, the Cowboys. They're taking on the Broncos and will air in a majority of markets. In the later slate, almost every market will see the Chiefs-Packers game, as the battle between Patrick Mahomes and Jordan Love will be one of the marquee games of the week.

Meanwhile, CBS' five-game slate will be more balanced regionally, though the networkis featuring the Browns-Bengals game slightly more than its other games.

TV schedule for NFL Week 9games

Below are the Sunday afternoon games that will be broadcast regionally. "Sunday Night Football" will feature a matchup between the Rams at Titans. It will mark since Derrick Henry suffered a foot injury that will knock him out 6-10 weeks while the Rams will play their first game since trading for Von Miller.

"Monday Night Football" will feature the Bears and Steelers. Those two teams are heading in opposite directions, as the Bears have lost three consecutive games while the Steelers have won three games in a row.
