The racist cop who led the OJ investigation was documented as a racist in an interesting way -- he had filed a disability claim saying that repeated witnessing of the violent horrors he had seen in the black community had made him too racist to be an impartial law enforcer

This was the modal outcome for the effeminate boys that we are now placing on a pipeline to a lifetime of medicalized self-harm. What has been gained and who benefitted by choosing the latter path?

The 388-page Cass Report, published Tuesday, has undermined @GLAAD's assertion that the 'science is settled' regarding pediatric gender-transition treatment. GLAAD's only comment on the report is this tweet, in which GLAAD erroneously calls it 'the latest study from England.'

Yes we are enacting the reductio ab absurdum in reality, calling it good, and threatening and maligning those pointing it out

I'm glad that people think I have the writing talent to be myself and such radically differing voices like CAP and Alice From Queens simultaneously. The thing is -- I probably do. I just don't have the time or energy for it

Remember when they tried to scare you into keeping your kids home because of Monkey Pox?

But they said the orgies must go on because orgies are a human right and sexual permissiveness is a big liberatory achievement that must not be walked back?

I couldn’t have asked for a better example of what I posted yesterday to Coddled affluent professional and Kevin Bass PhD MS
Note how there’s zero attempt to deal with data or evidence or analysis here, it’s all truth by proxy: standup comedian vs credentialed eXpErTs. When the proxy goes insane,…

This tweet is meant to be sarcastic but here's the paradox:

The standup comedian can actually come to a more trustworthy conclusion than highly credentialed experts, because the *experts* are following bad incentives and are not being forthcoming in public.

The weird part of this Foucauldian paradigm is the ease with which it has been married with a technocratic scientism that still passes off its conclusions as normatively inert. See 'the science has been settled'.

Wesley Yang This is also why there's so much... plagiarism. The activist literature doesn't make sense, so you can't just go on with logic or concepts/claims that would make sense to each researcher independently. To manufacture this sort of consensus there must be 'duplicative language'.

NEW: UCLA medical school’s psychiatry department hosted a talk this month that glorified self-immolation as a form of 'revolutionary suicide.'

We have obtained audio of the talk, which argued taboos on self-immolation serve 'the interests of power.'🧵
